If you liked the Notebook then you should read The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.

Now I must admit I only began to read this book because of the previews for the movie and I wanted to read the book before I watch the movie. I still have about a third of the book to finish but so far I'm enjoying it. The book is told in the perspective of both Clare (the wife) and Henry (the time traveler). At parts you'll laugh and at parts you'll be sad. It's a very good book and so far I have to admit that I can relate to the character of Clare in the book. Basically she knows what she wants and she always holds onto that hope of getting the things she wants whether it's Henry or a family. Even when things look hopeless she still hangs on and even when Henry is gone transported by time some place she waits. She spends her entire childhood waiting to grow older and meet him in the present. That's some dedication there. She's certain of her love for him and that he's the one for her even when other's don't think he's good for her, even when Henry himself isn't sure he's good for her. Clare always has faith and hope in the two of them, she always sees the good in Henry and knows that any time spent with him, together is worth it. It's why I admire Clare and it's why I relate to her.
If you enjoyed Harry Potter and/or Twilight than these books are for you. The series is written by Cassandra Claire (I think!) and the books are the City of Bones, City of Glass, and City of Ashes.

Like Harry Potter and Twilight there is magic in these books. To be exact there are wizards, elves, vampires, werewolves, faeries and Shadow Hunters which are a race of humans who carry angelic blood. It is their duty to rid the world of the demons and maintain a balance.

Clary, the main character is a normal girl who gets sucked into this world of the supernatural when her mother disappears. It is then that Clary finds out that she is much more connected to this world than she ever knew. She along with her best friend Simon and her new Shadow Hunter friends Alex, Isabelle and Jace have to work together to find and rescue Clary's mother. Only it is through this journey that Clary begins to learn more about her past, her mother's past and who her father really is. There are secrets and mysterious that threaten to tear apart her relationships with the ones closest to her.

So if you like Gossip Girl (The Books) then I highly recommend checking out this series called Private by Kate Brian. It's got privileged rich kids like Gossip Girl but what Private has is sex, drugs and my favorite element of all murder...

It follows around this girl named Reed Brennan whose basically the odd girl at Easton. She's a sophmore whose there on scholarship and the new girl in a place where pretty much everyone has known each other their whole lives. Soon she meets the resident "IT" girls of the school, the Billings Girls; Noelle, Ariana, Kiran and Taylor. These girls are not only beautiful but their powerful too and Reed immediately wants to be one. It isn't until hottie Thomas Pearson takes an interest in Reed that the Billings Girls begin to take her under their wing. I'm on book 7 right now myself and there's a prequel as well which I dont reccomend you read until about after the 4th book. Anyways there's a bunch of hazing, disappearances and yes...murders. At Billings everyone has a secret as Reed begins to find out and not everyone is as they seem. I guarentee you will get hooked!

Anyways I plan to tell you what I think book by book but I'm gonna wait until my friend Sam gets caught up ha ha. But seriously check it out!
